Austin Moran Biography
Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Austin Moran spent 25 years working in radio and television and has been heard on radio stations in Chicago; Washington, DC; and Philadelphia, as well as nationally on the Breeze Radio Network for five years as the morning on-air personality.
Austin lived in Tehran, Iran in the mid and late 1970s working for the National Iran Radio and Television network, broadcasting throughout the Middle East and Southern Europe. During his time in Iran, he also hosted a weekly televised travelogue filmed at historic locations throughout Iran. Later, Austin had the first-ever weekly syndicated radio program to air nationwide on the Soviet Radio and Television Network from Moscow.
You may feel that you've heard Austin before - and very likely have, his voice having been featured on a wide range of projects for an array of clients that includes GTE, Bell Helicopter, Mercedes Benz-America, American University, Yashi Aircraft Corporation, Bank of America, The United States Navy, Southwest Airlines, PBS, and others. Additionally, Austin was featured in several dramatic roles on the BBC/Thames Television production of Man About The House.
